The Chiefland Farmers Flea Market is changing for the upcoming season and bringing in more and more artists of all types as well as inspiring new small businesses. Next month the market is sponsoring a local published author event which features published writers from, not only the tri-county area, but those in the surrounding counties as well. So far we have about 9 published authors and an editor interested in sharing their books and stories about writing, publishing, marketing and editing stories with anyone who has an interest.
We will be updating this flyer before the end of the month but we thought you might want to get a preview of some of the great published writers who have accepted out invitation.
So, if you are a writer (of any age, style, published or not) and want to know more about how to get published, enlist the help of a local editor or even start a local writers group come on down and listen and speak to the panel of experts we have assembled on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on the Red Row. We will post more information and another flyer at the end of this month.
Toni’s Kitchen is featuring a homemade meatloaf plate with mash potatoes and gravy this weekend along with her regular cold plates, fast food items and hot-homemade breakfast items
Diane’s Restaurant is having their regular meals like homemade spaghetti and meatballs (or sausages) meals as well as Country Fried Steak or Ham Dinners. You can also get a great breakfast just check out their menu boards.
The market has, once again, brought their customers the Ted D. Bear straw-made sitting booth that you and your family can take pictures to send to all of your friends and family. Come on down this weekend and grab a great picture-taking opportunity for FREE.
Over the next several weeks the management and volunteers in the market will be getting together to plan, build and man the yearly haunted house. More details as they become available.
