Be Prepared This Last Weekend in August

We hope everyone is taking the warnings about Hurricane Dorian serious and doing all your prep work this weekend. The market will be opened this weekend so you can come on down and pick up some of your hurricane supplies, tools, etc. Griffeth Tools and Tarps on the corner of the Yellow and Orange rows will be opened Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm ready to serve you. We have vendors that sell candles, lanterns, laundry detergents and other clean-up supplies, tools, ropes, tarps, and extra set of keys made, movies to entertain your kids, board games, books, and so much more.

Remember we had the Levy County Emergency Management Representative at the market this summer and he had some great information to share:

Check out your county’s Emergency Management Website for updates and more helpful information about the upcoming storm, register for “Red Alerts” and if you have a medical/physical disability and would need extra help evacuating in an emergency you will need to register with these agencies.
