First Week of June

The first weekend of June has come and gone and we survive another scorching three days. The Chiefland Watermelon Festival was Saturday and probably did affect the amount of money the vendors made this week. It really couldn’t be helped and we will just have to keep on trucking to the next week and hope for the best. The surprising thing was it really poured down rain on Sunday and helped cool off the hallways and booths all around.

May Day Wrap Up

The month of May was very busy and the weather is just getting hotter and hotter. The first weekend of the month was nice and busy but the weekend of Mother’s Day was even more so. We had lots of people trying to find things for their moms and moms shopping for themselves.

April Wrap Up

It is getting really hot here in sunny Florida and we have been gaining and losing vendors pretty regularly. Our newest includes Shady Oaks Farm on the Yellow row and Southern Women Crafts also on the Yellow row. Shady Oaks Farm has baked goods, homemade fudge, some jewelry and homemade canned goods. Southern Women Crafts has handcrafted bead and wire Jewelry and Accessories and hand crocheted items like hats, purses, drawstring bags and much more.
