Happy Last Weekend in January 2020

We have had some wild and crazy weather this month from 80 degrees down to almost the 20s in some places around the area. But today it is sunshine and clear air. Come on down and see what our vendors have for sale. They provide everything from handcrafted items, fresh baked goods, antiques of all kinds, gently used items and even fresh fruits and vegetables. You can visit our Market almost every single weekend and we will have something different to offer as well as our regulars. The outside vendors are also a varied crew with lots of items for sale at reasonable prices. If for nothing else come on over and enjoy the walk around, say hi! to your neighbors, meet some new friends and enjoy a meal or snack at one of the restaurants.

Food Shop Updates

Diane’s Snack Shack on the corner of the Green and Red Rows posts their specials on their big chalkboard. Come on by and get yourself a homecooked breakfast or lunch or just a snack for later.

Mystic Cottage Bakery on the corner of the Blue and Yellow Rows has some fresh-baked bread, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, peanut butter fudge, and even those Buckeyes cookies. If her booth is closed that just means she is walking around the market with her repurposed wooden cart.

Toni’s Kitchen is also cooking up a storm and offering Stuffed Bell Peppers or Cabbage Rolls with Succotash and your choice of either Cole Slaw, Cottage Cheese or Cucumber Salad along with a piece of lemon cake.

Vendor Updates and Specials

Southern Women Crafts on the Yellow Row – Booth 4 is having a 50% off sale on all of her Hand Crocheted Items till the end of the month. However, today is the last day you can get them in her shop. If you check out her online store: https://swconlinestore.com you can still order them and pick them up in the shop next weekend.

This Ain’t No Museum on the Green Row – Booth 13, 15 is also having a 50% off Everything Sale this weekend only. Poor thing has been sick since before Christmas and needs to refresh her stock and make a little money to help pay all those dang medical bills. Come on by and see what she had to add to your collection.

Betsy and Richard Hunter are back again offering her handcrafted towels, gnomes, towel bags and his wooden signs and more. They have moved into a monthly spot on the Red Row – Booth 5-7. Come on by and see their new store layout.

Upcoming Events and Vendor Announcements

Our Very Own Al – The Leather Guy (the ever-present log-cabin walls on the corner of the Black and Yellow Rows right next to Ray’s Coins and Antiques) is closing up his shop tomorrow at noon. He is embarking on an exciting adventure and taking his goods on the road. First stopping at the all-important NRA show in Pennsylvania then heading west. He says he might be back in the fall on the Black Row. We wish him well and safe travels.

Enjoy our Pictorial Tour of the Market This Saturday Morning

Happy October 2019

October is National Book month and we will be having a Support Your Local Author Event right here in the market on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We hope you and yours will come out and support our local tri-county area published writers, ask lots of questions and even start a few writers groups. Yes, the vendor spaces are rapidly filling up and some of our vendors have moved to different spaces around the market. All just in time for the influx of tourists coming to the area to enjoy the weather, the natural resources and just because they can. Hopefully, we all will either get some great bargains or make some money over the next couple of months.

More Vendors Coming this Fall

Boy, we are having a really busy weekend and, of course, it doesn’t help that my laptop went on the fritz yesterday morning so I couldn’t finish this post. But such is life. We are having a nice influx of new vendors wanting spaces here at the market. Some of them are even crafters! We welcome them all and look forward to having a full house for the fall and winter season. Come on down and check us out every weekend. You just never know what you’re going to find.

Last Weekend in July 2019

Hey, everybody! Hope you and yours are staying dry and safe out there. We hope to see everyone at least one of the three days we are open this weekend because you just never know what you are going to find here at the Market. Sonny and his helper have been working on converting a couple of booths on the Red Row into enclosed Booth and a half. You can add the walls and windows to your booth if you don’t like the chain link fence and would perhaps be able to run a small ac unit for you and your customers.

Independence Day Weekend

Happy 4th everybody! Hope you and yours are having a safe and wonderful holiday weekend.

We had quite a few storms passing through yesterday in the county and surrounding area and not everyone was able to have their fireworks display. A few places around the tri-county area will reschedule. Even though they are loud and disturb our pets it is still awe-inspiring to watch a really good coordinated fireworks show.
