We have reached the middle of November already. We hope everyone enjoyed all the rain we have had over the last two days but the cold temperatures we could do without. Unless, of course, you sell hats, gloves and scarves like Southern Women Crafts (Shameless Promotion for the Blog writer -Jolene’s booth on Yellow Row) does then come on by and see her to keep your extremities warm and toasty while you shop around and find wild and crazy items. Of course, we now have fresh veggies and fruits as well as the Dixie Woods Honey House on the Black Row. There are artists, craftsmen, appliances (Big and Small), as well as antiques and just regularly old used items that you might find a use for. Don’t forget tomorrow we have the Support the Local Authors Event on Saturday right in the front yard.

Restaurant Updates

Toni’s Kitchen is having homemade Lasagna, Chili, Great Northern Beans and Cornbread and old fashioned apple dumplings. Yes, you can also order a cold plate, chef salad or the regular hamburger, hotdog and fries too.

Diane’s Restaurant has meatloaf dinner, hamburger steak or chicken fried steak as well as their famous homemade spaghetti with either meatball or sausages.

Dixie Woods Honey is now located his cute little house/store on the Black Row. He will be here about 5 days a week with great honey and fresh farm eggs. Come on by and check it out.

Debbie the Fruit Lady is going strong on the Black Row right next to the office. Come on by she has a great mixture of fruits and vegetables and some are even from local farmers. Come on down and see what she has available.

Vendor Specials and Updates

Enjoy the pictures we took around the market on Friday morning. You just never know what you’re going to find until you come on out and explore. Dress warmly this weekend and don’t forget to check out the great local writers in the tents under the big oak trees at the front of the market.
